Jerome Williams was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete game and Orlando Cabrera had 5 hits and 6 RBI at Pro Player Stadium where the Tampico Stogies beat the Burbank Tigers 13 to 5. Cabrera was really in 'the zone'. He doubled resulting in a run in the 1st inning, doubled knocking in a run in the 2nd inning, smashed a two-run homer (his 4th of the season) in the 6th inning, delivered a base-hit scoring two baserunners in the 7th inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Tampico provided plenty of action in the 7th inning with 6 runs on 5 hits. This was the kind of game that many fans love as the lead changed hands 5 times. The victory went to Williams(6-14) who went the distance allowing 5 runs. Mike Maroth(13-13) suffered the loss. He was knocked around by Tampico, allowing 13 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings. 'I just got in the box, looked for a pitch and swung,' Cabrera said. 'That's it'
